There’s no description more apt for Sheryl Bailey than “A sizzling guitar goddess”, coined by Elliot Simon of All About Jazz.  He’s not alone with his superlatives—Adam Levy of Guitar Player Magazine calls Sheryl “One of the most compelling tones of her generation”, and Frank Forte of Just Jazz Guitar ranks her “among the best bop guitar players with a fresh approach and something new.”  Sheryl’s playing is unquestionably “sizzling”.  She has groomed incredible chops and impeccable taste with which she applies them.  It’s said (by Lee Metcalf, The Villager) that she can “go from zero to blazing in two beats”, but she is continually praised for never sacrificing melody and lyricism for technique.  “She balances superior technical skills with a strong lyrical sense and swinging touch…” continues Metcalf, and Joe Taylor of Soundstage says “Bailey combines an astonishing command of the fingerboard with a seemingly endless flow of melodic invention.”

Josh Mercado is a nationally touring trumpet player and pianist who has performed alongside artists like Joey Fatone, AJ McLean, Debbie Gibson, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Murr from Impractical Jokers, gracing stages at renowned venues including The Salt Shed, the Capitol Theatre, The Factory, and the Ryman. 

A University of Central Florida graduate now pursuing his master's in jazz studies at William Paterson University, he's also built a reputation as an accomplished jazz trumpeter, sharing the stage with players like Rodney Green, Clarence Penn, and Winard Harper. Beyond performing, Mercado is known for his meticulous horn arrangements and transcriptions, having contributed writing to national productions such as the A Legendary Night tour.

Johnathan Blake is one of the most dynamic and respected drummers in modern jazz — a masterful musician, composer, and bandleader whose sound blends deep groove, explosive energy, and extraordinary sensitivity. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Blake is the son of acclaimed jazz violinist John Blake Jr. and began playing drums at age 10, developing his voice within the city’s rich jazz tradition before going on to study at William Paterson University,

Known for his versatility and commanding presence behind the kit, Blake has performed and recorded with some of the most influential names in jazz, including Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, Tom Harrell, Chris Potter, Maria Schneider, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Kenny Barron, Roy Hargrove, and the Mingus Big Band. As a bandleader, his acclaimed Blue Note releases Homeward Bound, Passage, and My Life Matters showcase his powerful compositional voice, emotional depth, and ability to bring together rhythm, melody, family legacy, and social consciousness through music.

Jaleel Shaw is an acclaimed jazz alto and soprano saxophonist, composer, and bandleader from Philadelphia, trained at Berklee College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. A Thelonious Monk Competition finalist and member of the Mingus Big Band, he's shared stages and studios with jazz giants like Roy Haynes, Dave Holland, Pat Metheny, Christian McBride, and Chick Corea. 

Through his own label, Changu Records, he's released a string of celebrated albums — from his 2005 debut Perspective to 2025's Painter of the Invisible — earning praise in DownBeat, JazzTimes, and The New York Times, two ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards, and recognition as one of his generation's most distinctive voices on the saxophone.

Luis Perdomo is a Grammy Award-winning Venezuelan-born jazz pianist, composer, and educator celebrated for his virtuosic technique, lyrical improvisation, and dynamic artistry. A longtime collaborator with leading jazz artists including Miguel Zenón, Ravi Coltrane, and Tom Harrell, Perdomo has become one of the most respected pianists in contemporary jazz. His performances seamlessly blend the richness of Latin American musical traditions with modern jazz, delivering an unforgettable live experience.
