Will Lyle is a New York City–based upright and electric bassist, bandleader, composer, arranger, producer, and educator whose sound is rooted in deep jazz tradition, modern groove, and global performance experience. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music, Lyle has spent more than 15 years as a working professional musician, touring internationally, performing at major jazz festivals, and collaborating with GRAMMY-winning artists.

Mike Clark is a legendary jazz and funk drummer whose groundbreaking groove has helped shape the sound of modern rhythm. Best known for his work with Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters, Clark gained international recognition for his innovative playing on Hancock’s Thrust album, especially the iconic track “Actual Proof,” which continues to influence generations of drummers and jazz musicians.

A master of feel, pocket, and improvisation, Clark brings together the deep swing of jazz with the raw energy of funk, creating a sound that is both sophisticated and electrifying. Throughout his career, he has performed and recorded with an extraordinary list of artists, including Herbie Hancock, Chet Baker, Tony Bennett, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, Bobby Hutcherson, Woody Shaw, Bobby McFerrin, and many more.

Diego Hedez is a Cuban-born trumpeter and composer bringing a bold, modern voice to contemporary jazz, Afro-Cuban music, and free improvisation. Born in Remedios, Villa Clara, Diego began his musical journey at just nine years old, later studying at Cuba’s prestigious National School of Arts, where he developed a deep foundation in trumpet, composition, bebop, Cuban rumba, and Afro-Cuban jazz. His sound is rooted in the rich musical traditions of the Caribbean and Latin America while pushing forward into adventurous, boundary-expanding improvisation.

Johnathan Blake is one of the most dynamic and respected drummers in modern jazz — a masterful musician, composer, and bandleader whose sound blends deep groove, explosive energy, and extraordinary sensitivity. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Blake is the son of acclaimed jazz violinist John Blake Jr. and began playing drums at age 10, developing his voice within the city’s rich jazz tradition before going on to study at William Paterson University,

Known for his versatility and commanding presence behind the kit, Blake has performed and recorded with some of the most influential names in jazz, including Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, Tom Harrell, Chris Potter, Maria Schneider, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Kenny Barron, Roy Hargrove, and the Mingus Big Band. As a bandleader, his acclaimed Blue Note releases Homeward Bound, Passage, and My Life Matters showcase his powerful compositional voice, emotional depth, and ability to bring together rhythm, melody, family legacy, and social consciousness through music.
