Mecadon McCune is an emerging force in contemporary jazz, known for his expressive drumming, creative leadership, and deep musical sensibility. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Mecadon grew up immersed in music — his father, veteran jazz pianist Brandon McCune, and his mother, opera singer Christine Clemmons-McCune, shaped his early artistic world and exposed him to the breadth of musical expression from a young age. A rising star on the jazz scene, Mecadon was awarded the $10,000 James Moody Jazz Scholarship, one of New Jersey’s most prestigious honors for young musicians, enabling him to pursue a degree in Jazz Performance at Montclair State University. Esteemed judges including Christian McBride and Renee Rosnes praised his musicianship, dedication, and creative voice.

Todd Bashore is a distinguished New York–based saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator with over three decades of experience on the jazz scene. Ava Preston is a rising jazz vocalist and indie singer-songwriter based between Cleveland and New York, known for her rich blend of jazz, blues, pop, and original music. A 2024 Best Female Vocalist winner at the Cleveland Music Awards, a YoungArts finalist, and a multiple DownBeat Student Music Award winner, she’s performed at prestigious venues including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Birdland. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Jazz Voice at The Juilliard School, Ava brings soulful expression, deep musicality, and storytelling to every performance.
