Wilfie Williams is a British-born pianist and composer now based in New York, celebrated for his expressive touch, deep sense of groove, and musical curiosity that bridges tradition with modern jazz conversation. A full scholarship student at Berklee College of Music who studied with world-class mentors and performed at major venues like Dizzy’s Club and the DC Jazz Festival, Wilfie has shared the stage with acclaimed artists and leads his own ensembles across the NYC scene. His playing and original compositions bring people together through rich melody, rhythmic drive, and spirited ensemble interplay — a fresh and powerful voice in contemporary jazz.

Angelina Miers is a Belarus-born jazz vocalist, songwriter, and educator now making her mark on the NYC jazz scene with soulful interpretations rooted in the Great American Songbook. After winning a scholarship to study Jazz and Cognitive Neuroscience in the U.S., she’s performed at top NYC venues like Birdland and Ornithology Jazz Club, participated in esteemed residencies, and become a finalist in the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald Competition — all while developing her own rich, expressive voice in jazz.

Ava Preston is a rising jazz vocalist and indie singer-songwriter based between Cleveland and New York, known for her rich blend of jazz, blues, pop, and original music. A 2024 Best Female Vocalist winner at the Cleveland Music Awards, a YoungArts finalist, and a multiple DownBeat Student Music Award winner, she’s performed at prestigious venues including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Birdland. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Jazz Voice at The Juilliard School, Ava brings soulful expression, deep musicality, and storytelling to every performance.

Simon Mogul Band

Tenor saxophonist Simon Mogul is a rising voice on the New York jazz scene, blending a deep reverence for jazz tradition with a bold, contemporary edge. Originally from Miami, Mogul draws inspiration from icons like John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins while crafting a sound that feels fresh, expressive, and forward-thinking. He has performed alongside jazz luminaries including Curtis Lundy, Matt Wilson, Arturo O’Farrill, Phillip Harper, and Charu Suri, appearing at premier NYC venues such as Smalls, Birdland, Minton’s Playhouse, and The Django. In 2025, Mogul received a South Arts Foundation grant to tour nationally in support of his debut album, released February 2025. Beyond the bandstand, he is a dedicated educator and mentor, serving as an ensemble coach at City College of New York and working with formerly incarcerated individuals through the Music on the Inside organization.

With a career spanning more than four decades, trumpeter Joe Magnarelli has established himself as one of jazz’s most respected and in-demand voices — known for his warm, lyrical style, formidable technique, and deep roots in the bop and hard-bop traditions. A native of Syracuse, NY, he became a fixture on the New York jazz scene after moving there in the mid-1980s, performing and recording with legends like Lionel Hampton, Brother Jack McDuff, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Harry Connick Jr., and many others, appearing on over 125 recordings and sharing stages worldwide. Revered for his mastery of both straight-ahead jazz and dynamic ensemble playing, Magnarelli continues to inspire audiences with his rich musicality and enduring dedication to the art form.

John Lee is a towering figure in jazz whose deep groove, musical wisdom, and decades-spanning career have made him one of the most respected bassists in the genre. An American bassist, Grammy Award–winning record producer, composer, and audio engineer, Lee has performed with many of jazz’s greatest legends and continues to shape the music’s future through performance, education, and artistic leadership. In 1984, Lee joined the legendary Dizzy Gillespie as his bassist, a role he held for nearly a decade, performing in bands such as the United Nation Orchestra and Gillespie’s big band ensembles. At the request of the Gillespie family, Lee later became the artistic director and bassist of the Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars, the All-Star Big Band, and the Afro-Cuban Experience, keeping Dizzy’s boundary-breaking spirit alive on stages around the globe. IA Grammy Award winner for his work as recording engineer and producer on Jazz Batá 2, Lee’s influence extends far beyond performance — he has produced over 70 albums and engineered more than 100 recordings.
